C’est une photographie de mes archives que j’ai choisie aujourd’hui, je l’ai prise aux Açores, il y a bientôt deux ans. J’ai été attiré par les paysages naturels des Açores, mais j’ai aussi aimé les habitations aux lignes épurées. Pendant presque deux semaines, j’ai habité dans une petite maison basse, bien moins moderne que celle de ma photographie ! Dans cette maison j’ai peint, préparé mes prises de vue en photographie. Je me rappelle du café que je me préparais à la hâte, très tôt le matin, avant de sortir avec mon matériel photographique pour profiter de la lumière du matin. Je repense encore souvent à ce lieu !

This is a picture from my archives that I’ve chosen to share today. I took it in the Azores almost two years ago. I was attracted by the natural landscapes of the Azores, but I also liked the clean and minimal lines of the houses. For almost two weeks, I lived in a small, low-rise house that was much less modern than the one of this post! In this house I painted and prepared my photography shots. I remember the coffee I used to make in a hurry, very early in the morning, before going out with my photographic gear to take advantage of the morning light. I still think about that place so often!
